Learning how to make a video that your market will enjoy is a fabulous goal. And there is a surprising way to shorten that learning curve.

The key is to understand something about yourself that maybe you’ve never asked yourself in quite this way.

Watch this very brief video to get your personal key.

And by the way, there’s a cool bonus when you do…

      Thank you for this, Steve,

I have changed direction this year (again) and am now focusing on writing fiction. I thought, maybe, in the future I could produce an accompanying, amusing video to help a book launch.

However, my books feature a hero who is a young man. The problem is that I am an old lady. Although I write as if I am recording my heroes story, much as Dr Watson did for Sherlock Holmes, my ancient face on the screen would do nothing for anyone.

Having undertaken your exercise, I now realise that I could use just voice only or some animation.

I share this with you all whilst thanking you.

      Kindest, Zara.

Fiction presents unlimited opportunities to use video. So don’t discount the idea of using yourself. Remember “The Notebook”?

What came up for me was “connecting to my audience.” That’s very interesting, because I’ve been defining niches. I really appreciate this exercise in awareness. Thanks!

There’s nothing quite like a nice revelation to start your day! 🙂

      Wow, Steve,
That was quite a surprise! I got a quick vision of myself working with groups, helping them with their video projects.
Interesting. Let’s see how that progresses 🙂
      Thanks

Hello Steven. My thoughts and prays are with you. Have several of your programs, but this maybe the best to come.

A quick tech question, what autoresponder do you use to include text and videos .Mine, Aweber will not accept videos.

      • Steven Washer

Thanks James! Actually, no autoresponder should accept videos. Much too unreliable in terms of deliverability, especially today with so much dependent on mobile.

Instead, you just place a thumbnail of the video player in the email with a link to the page where the video is embedded. Works great and AWeber, or any other autoresponder can deliver your viewer to that with no problem.

I use Infusionsoft now, but used to use AWeber. And no, I have never put a video in an email. 🙂

My inner voice told me there was art I could make with video; it didn’t have to be marketing related. What a relief! Thanks for that.

Hope you’re feeling better! You rook mahvalus!
