There’s a great leap of faith one must take if they want to be truly successful with their marketing.

The majority never take it. And of those who do, many waver and doubt and make stabs at it, then their efforts sputter and they give up.

But why, when they knew the benefits, would they allow such a thing to happen?

It’s 2009. Marketing legend Sean D’Souza and I are walking through a train station in Washington DC, talking about making content, and he says “You need to be consistent”.

A shiver goes up my spine because I know he’s right and I also know there is NOTHING in me that could commit to that.

I had to learn something about myself first. And that would take about 3 more years. The question is, why? I had been walking the earth for over 50 of them at that point.

Turns out this is not an age-related problem. It’s more insidious than that. And it comes in many disguises.

Chief among them is a feeling of frustration that floods your whole nervous system when you think about the idea of consistency.

I wish someone had been able to show me this in 2009.

I think if you watch this video, you will see yourself being consistent in a way you couldn’t imagine before.

You’ll be able to see what’s REALLY been standing in your way, but always hiding in plain sight.

And more importantly, you’ll know exactly what to do about it.

This is certainly one of “Our Video Yoda’s” deeply important, masterfully presented messages. One I will want and need to review again and again!
