Like many people, I’m watching what’s happening to the world and looking at the effect it’s having on business. And it’s physically painful to me that more people don’t know how to do what many of us do here.

The ability to reach out with a positive, hopeful and professional image behind our message, and do it all from our homes and offices has never been more important. And there are signs that this may be necessary for longer than anyone would hope.

The problem is, nobody, or almost nobody knows how to do that. I’ve been experiencing the poignant truth of this for the last 60 days or so.

Several thousand new people have joined the Visible Authority community looking for more information on how to do this effectively, efficiently and as non-painfully as possible, or maybe just on how to do greenscreen.

But why? Well, on one level the answer is obvious. Who has a TV Studio-quality space in which to make their case to a frightened and skeptical public? We all intuitively understand the need for a credible image.

When you show up professional, your message is heard. You attract more of the right people. You can charge premium prices without pushback. Each of your videos becomes a little business asset that grows in value, as it brings more and more people into your world without even having to advertise (not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

But for most people, it’s just always something; some otherwise little thing they can’t get right that ruins the greenscreen and drives them batty. They can’t get the process down, so they can’t get their message out the way they really want to. They’re stuck in the water. They don’t know what they don’t know. It’s a miserable place to be.

So I’m going to take the whole summer and maybe then some, to solve this problem once and for all. I’m going to build the ultimate greenscreen course.

It will use everything I’ve learned about working one-on-one with people to get them perfect results in a matter of hours. That know-how will be transferred to a group program where nothing will be left out. No one will be left behind.

I don’t have any details yet on when it will be or how many participants we can take, or even pricing, so there’s much more to come.

Have a wonderful summer!

This sounds great, Steve! Many of my clients/friends haven’t a clue as to the ‘how-to-do-it’, but definitely DO know what they want to see/hear in the final product.

In the words of one of my heroes, ‘stand by for news’.

      • Steven Washer

Thanks, Blake. Yes, that’s true. They’ll know it when they see it! 🙂

Can’t wait to see what you come up with

      • Steven Washer

Can hardly wait to finish and show it to you, Jaime. 🙂

The very term “Green Screen” reduces me to violent trembling! But knowing how well you do what you do I’ll withhold my tremors for now. Looking forward to it.

      • Steven Washer

Be brave, Daryl. Soon you won’t need to!

    • Tom Hailey

      I appreciate all you do.

      • Steven Washer

There you are, Tom! I wondered what happened to you.
You were already at 87.5%, so no worries. 🙂

    • Jason Price

It’ll be great to learn from all your experiences since you last did your excellent greenscreen tutorials. Keen to see what’s new to help improve! Live long and prosper 🙂

      • Steven Washer

I suspect we might want to interview you on how well some people have made use of what’s already been produced. Engage!

        • Jason Price

More than happy to help you with a contribution Steve.

Just finished season 1 original Star Trek and moving on to season 2 tonight. It’s our dinner movie.
Live an RV with an addition. Greenscreen in small spaces is a challenge. Especially as my owned equipment was for my previous bigger living space. Hopefully you can Kobayashi Maru that challenge.
      Looking forward to your course.
Thank you for what you do.

      • Steven Washer

Ha, ha! Yes, there will be a solution for RV’s, believe it or not. Enjoy the trip down Memory Alpha. 🙂

      Dear Steven,
Well, I’m here in Maple Ridge so I know what Kobayashi Maru is so you got me worried. 🙂 Are you having surgery again for your voice or do have family in another country who can’t get here due to quarantine?

      Best wishes
      jane

      • Steven Washer

Thank you, Jane. No, thankfully it’s not my voice or my family, and I do thank you for your kind wishes. Perhaps I’ll be able to speak more about it in the not-too-distant future.

      Hi Steve,
I’m always impressed by how “tuned in” you are to what your audience is thinking, including me! So I’m looking forward to seeing what you have happening next.
      Brian
