Most will find this a touchy subject. Some may think me mad. What I’m going to say goes against everything we’re taught to believe about business, but kind of goes like this: persuasion is the religion of marketing. The third rail. The holy grail.

But why? If we take the time and thought to tailor golden tickets for those who can best use them, why would we stop caring for them or trusting ourselves right at the moment of decision?

This is why…

You make the “professionalism” look so easy! I know… practice, practice, practice.

      • Steven Washer

Well, to be fair, more of the right kind of practice. 🙂

Message received…per Coach Wooden…perfect practice, makes perfect! Thank you again.

Especially in this time of mind-numbing, robo-voice videos on YouTube, you are as real as it gets, Steven. You are the Anti-Robo, which is my goal, too.

Thank you, Mia! I like the term. 🙂

I was told that the ideal way to create customers is to tailor a message for those that are “bleeding from the throat.” I take it, that’s not part of your zeitgeist!

Curious, diligent and frightened of failing, I embraced this ethic in the beginning. But it’s counter-productive to long-term attraction for a host of reasons.

I should have added that it’s a very good thing to stop someone’s bleeding. So it’s good to have a message that makes it clear you can do that. I just don’t want to be the one holding the knife.

      Steven,

I can already tell that I want IN on The Video Launch Code.
I am beseeching the Gods to Rain Down Money On Me!

Steve, at the bottom of your Visible Authority page(s), reads:

“Watch The 1 Minute Authority – Tuesdays at 9:30AM EST”.
      or
“Watch The 5 Minute Authority – Wednesdays at 9:30AM ET”

      Where?

      • Steven Washer

I’m having to gather up these pages like children who don’t want to leave the party. There must be one or two still hiding behind the easy chair.

It’s Wednesday for the 5 Minute Authority, BTW. As for where, it’s right here!

“Cutting room floor”…. I didn’t think you were old enough to go back that far. LOL You sound like an old film editor, also.
getting pretty esoteric…but, you’re still very inspiring always.
