What we learn should be sustainable. That's important, because if it isn't sustainable, it doesn't last. Obviously. So why are we still prone to accepting the illusions of "someday" and "easy"?

There is no someday, and nothing is easy. There is only today and there is only work. We can work toward something sustainable, or we can work to resist it, which actually takes more work.
