If only there were one simple video you could make that would do the work of a dozen fancier videos. Well, It turns out that there is one and this is it.

It’s the one that will work the hardest at getting potential clients to call day after day, and we’re going all out to make sure you get it right.

Helping you get this video done will be the topic of this short course.

For the next four weeks all you have to do is watch the videos, use the pdf worksheets to follow along and make your version as I make mine.

The good news is that it’s one of the simplest you can make. There isn’t that much to do other than some basic scripting, a couple of minutes of shooting and some very minor editing.

It’s the strategy that makes this video sing so beautifully.

Today we’ll look at the script. Pick up your script template on the blog and follow along with this video to learn how to use it.

Actually it’s kind of embarrassing. I can’t believe I’ve never made this one before. Well, I’m going to take care of that now and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure you get yours. That’s what this 4-part training series is all about.

So dive in and get the straight scoop on getting clients with this awesome little video!

I cannot believe that Steve is offering this for free. This is the most helpful training I have received in terms of how to do video marketing.

      • Steve

Thank you, Lance! Hope you enjoy the Production module next week. You’ll need something to hang your awesome script on πŸ™‚

      Hi Steve,
very nicely done. Good typography, colour (yes we spell it like this in the UK -:) ) co-ordination, excellent green screen and of course, personal presentation. A good lesson in marketing in itself.

      Great stuff; a real inspiration.
      With kind regards
      Peter

      • Steve

I hope it was usable for you as well…

    • Steve

      Steven
Great timing, just launching a new website to cover the area I have moved to – Surrey Hills (in the UK). On the job list of support items, so will see how it goes.
      Thanks
      Steve

Timing is everything, isn’t it? So get your YouTube channel in order and you’ll be ready for the 4th installment!

    • Tomer Sh.

      Steve Oh Steve,

In the beginning I was checking the length of the video….told to my self oh well 14 minutes..
Those 14 minutes was best of the best – very nice planned and down to the point!!!
Thank you very much for actionable content… looking forward to the next part.

Thank you for the great content,
      Tomer

      • Steve

Thank you for sticking with it, Tomer! I know that time is going to affect our views, but some things simply take longer to explain correctly.

I could have made this a 30 second video with the entire script being “download the scripting template” and would have had tons more views. But that would be shortchanging those who actually had the time and took the time to watch.

I so appreciate your comment πŸ™‚

Steve, you have outdone yourself. I always get great value from your classes, and the bonus tips are fantastic.
Interestingly, I have found that I get the most and best results from some of your shorter items. I think it must have something to do with my own (lack of) attention span and innate desire for simplicity. Great job!
      Howard

      • Steve

It’s more than that, Howard. Simpler is always superior. I’ll see what I can do about next week’s installment.

    • Scott Jacobson

      Steve,
Nicely done. It is amazing that someone could say “blankety blank” so many times and still be interesting and informative:)

      Thanks,
      Scott

      Hi, Steve:

What I love most about your video is the level of service to others from which you operate. The information is incredibly useful but its the energy behind it that gives it impact.

Look forward to the upcoming modules.

      • Steven Washer

Much obliged, Tim! I’m glad you found it helpful.

    • Penny Hansen

      Hi Steven –
Timing is everything, indeed! Just yesterday I sent in a question to Lon and Michele regarding a script being 80 to 85% of a project, and how it is tripping me up…big time. Thank you so much! I’m off to rewrite my script…..again. Thanks to your generous template (road map), I’m going to get it finished today.
      Cheers,
      Penny

    • Steven Washer

Lon and Michele are awesome. You’re in good hands…

    • Dan McComas

Brainy Video indeed, Steve. Thanks for this awesome training!!! Loved your background too. Are you in the Land of Green Screen? Cool look, dear Prof!

      Is it next week yet?

      • Steven Washer

It’s getting awfully close, actually. Still working on that video…

    • Susanne

Steve, You always give exceptional value. This presentation is the best I’ve heard on explaining what you do, who you serve, and the transformation they receive by working with you. It’s short, sweet and powerful! Thank you so much.

      • Steven Washer

You’re welcome! Maybe we’ll see your video posted here?

    • Shama Kern

Really useful and actionable video! It’s greatly appreciated.

    • Lisa

I’m like that train, “I think I can, I think I can”, Yes, I think I can do this now! Thank you Steve!

    • Kathleen

Steve, this video and the scripting template have pushed me over the edge — the edge of finally DOING something I’ve been thinking about for over a year! Using your template, I finally wrote my script. And the first person I showed it to said, “Wow! This is great!” (admittedly that person was my husband, but he’s not an easy sell….). πŸ™‚

Anyhow, thanks for your generosity in sharing your expertise. I’m really looking forward to the next 3 episodes in this series.

WOW, Steven! What a simple and compelling formula! I just re-wrote the script for my landing page using the cheat sheet, and I’m psyched for production!

I’d love to see what others are doing. Got an interactive option here?

Thanks for this awesome content, Brother!

    • Steve

Yes, everyone will get a chance to post their videos at the conclusion of the series!

Steve, I’ve been working on my script, but I’m struggling a little. I’m trying to adapt it to fit a B2B services sales. Some of the sentences sound kind of clunky when I edit them to try and fit my business. Any suggestions?

    • Luci

      HI, Steven,
I watched your 4-part series right before we started a promotion for our winter self-care program. We used your script but felt we needed to make just a few small adjustments. If you have time to take a peek, I’d love to see if you think we did ok, or if we veered too much from the plan. (So we can learn for next time!) Thank you so much for all of your great lessons, Steven. I love getting your advice in my in-box.

      • Steven Washer

Thanks for posting, Luci! A lot going on in this video. Not exactly the template, but a very interesting variation. You might consider making it a little shorter, but otherwise well done.

        • Luci

          Steven,
Thank-You so much for taking a look!
Diana and I are thrilled with your response, especially since we’re by no means experts at this. We’ll keep working at it…. and keep watching your videos. πŸ™‚

    • Vashti

      Hi Steven,

I watched these videos when you first released them and deliberately went looking for them again now! The only problem is, there seems to be a broken link… I can find video one, and for the rest of the videos I have to sign up, which takes me to a ‘click here to get the next video’ page… It’s just that the link simply takes me to your blog and not parts 2-4… Are you able to email me the urls to the other videos, please?

      Thanks in advance

      Vashti

      • Steven Washer

It worked for me, Vashti. Just click the button and go through the sign-up and you’ll get the rest of the series delivered.

        Have fun. It’s a great series! πŸ™‚

        • Vashti

          Hi Steven,

Thanks for the superfast response! (an unexpected yet VERY pleasant surprise!)

It *IS* a great course, which is why I want to watch it again! *grins*

          Thanks again.

          Vashti

          • Steve

Well, that’s weird. We’ll have to fix that in the morning here. Please check back around 8AM ET. Sorry for the confusion!
