The manufacturers do a great job of making this sound easy, but for many, this is anything but easy.

This video will be the first in a series about the basics of video production in all its forms. I want to cover all those little things that people take for granted…like that everyone knows exactly how to upgrade their webcam, how to make it show up and how to record without going online.

In other words, how to take control of this process, right from the start.

So if you have questions about the little things, don’t be shy in asking about them. This will be the place we resolve those questions.

So here are the items used in the webcam portion of this video. I’m not an affiliate for these products. I use them because I like them.

The LogiTubo webcam
The Fifine USB microphone
The Blue Yeti Tabletop Microphone

      Hi,
Really enjoyed your video re Web cams. I am however having trouble identifying HDR rated web cams. Is there another term or specification that they might list that would indicate that the device is HDR capable?

I don’t really know of another way of detecting that. You’d think if they could do that, they would shout it from the rooftops.
