Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t sell with humor. That it’s too delicate, too easy to get wrong, too easy to overdo, and too hard to get right.

Nonsense!

We have the completely wrong idea of what humor is and how to go about it in business. Humor is one of the most powerful tools there is in marketing.

Here’s how to do it, especially for those of us who aren’t professional laugh manufacturers!

As always, you make this “so difficult” process of how, transition into simple doable steps for anyone in any business. Well done. Thank you

Cuppa Joy is a WONDERFUL name for a coffee joint! I wish I owned the place… Meanwhile, I’m trying to think of a way to add humor to the process of selling art that’s intended to bring peace and joy to its viewers/buyers and I draw a blank. The art is meditative rather than humorous so it’s hard for me to make referring to it funny. Guess I could go into a trance mid-sentence while talking about a recent piece then snap out of it to show it works? Or not.

Peace and joy is the second most-shared kind of content. But there are also those who had big businesses centered on peace and joy who went with comedy and absolutely blew up. Check out a company called Chatbooks. They were doing OK until they tested the waters with comedy and found a way to do it that still felt like them. Their customers loved it and they sold millions worth of their chatbooks in a very short period of time.
